Christina Scott

Consultant & Coach

Christina Scott is a consultant and coach with Inspired Inc. A change agent with over 15 years of experience across federal government, nonprofit, education, and private sectors, her roots are grounded in a deep belief that people and organizations thrive when given the right conditions to grow. She believes organizations should be places that maximize the gifts of others and allow people to bring their true selves into the work that they do. To that end, she coaches and collaborates with executive leaders, teams, and organizations to improve performance, culture, and stakeholder value.

She began her professional career as a Teach for America corps member, working predominantly with students and communities of color. Her work as an educator has helped her to see the importance of understanding one’s own bias, privilege, and cultural lens when helping to unveil the lenses of others. She has brought that lens to the work she does with individuals, teams, and organizations.

Christina practices value-aligned coaching, meeting clients where they are and helping them move forward with clarity, intention, and purpose. She believes coaching is not a tool that helps you become someone new. It is a tool that helps you unlock your own gifts, move out of your own way, and step fully into who you are destined to be.

In alignment with her commitment to cultural transformation and leadership development, Christina earned her Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Urban Education from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fordham University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Christina has a passion for connecting people to others and to themselves. At the root of connection, she believes, is the gift to know ourselves more broadly and deeply. When she is not working on her master plan to change the world, she enjoys traveling, tending her garden, practicing yoga, listening to all types of music, and inciting dance parties whenever possible.
