Lisanne van Engelen

Program Coordinator

Lisanne van Engelen is a program coordinator with Inspired Inc. She also currently works as a Research Health Science Specialist at the Office of Mental Health in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

She excels at communication, teamwork, and organization, all of which have been developed over years of leadership experience. In addition to her research work, she has had a wide range of professional experiences, including working as a Technology Services Intern at BNSF Railway, as an Old-Dutch to English translator of an 18th century Dutch play, a Social Impact Intern at the Carey Business School Career Development Office, and as a lead researcher on a project digitizing World War II maps.

Lisanne holds a MS in Information Systems from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in Washington, DC, and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, with a minor in Geographic Information Science & Technology, and a second minor in Dutch Studies.

In her spare time, she loves reading, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, and spending time in nature. She is fluent in Dutch and English.
